New work in the Character and Miscellaneous galleries.

And here’s a sneal peek at a few images that were released on the Spawn.com website. All I’ll say is that they’re from a future line from McFarlane Toys. Ponder that.

Gallery updates abound!

McFarlane Toys has released production photography for Dragons 5: Fall Of The Dragons Kingdom. And, as usual, the concept artwork that went into this line is now in my gallery. Also updated are the concept sketches for Dragons: Series 4.

Sometimes the final product will change from the original design, and sometimes stay true to the original idea. It is a constantly evolving process, and the sculptors in the Design Center always turn out some amazing work! To see how the Dragons start out, click HERE for the concept sketches. Below are some previews of the concept art.

Recently, I delivered some concepts for McFarlane Toys: Dragons Series 6. To refresh the Dragons line and keep it as fresh as possible, they’ve created brand-new clans for this series and it’s sure to impress. The McFarlane Dragons aren’t going anywhere, so dragons fans rejoice!

I also continue to work with McFarlane Toys on existing lines, in addition to new lines that are still in the development stages. Keep visiting my site for updates as they become available!

Next up, Orson Scott Card’s Intergalactic Medicine Show. Click on that link and purchase the newest issue of the online magazine. The ‘zine continues to get better with every issue, and is always packed with great stories and artwork that are well worth the $2.50 cover price.

I’ve been working closely with Mr. Card in producing the artwork for various stories in the magazine, and now I can release the images from Issue #1 here on my website. They are also in my Pro Work gallery, so head on over there to check them out. Here are some previews:

Also in Issue #1 of the IGMS, is the comic book Fat Farm, written by Orson Scott Card, adapted by Aaron Johnston, and illustrated by yours truly. Click HERE to purchase Issue #1, scroll towards the bottom of the page, and check it out!

It was my first swing at sequential artwork, so there are flaws and many things that I would do differently, but it was a great learning experience! I’m still considering how to present them in my gallery, so as soon as I figure that out, I’ll update the news. For now, here are a few thumbs of selected pages from the book:

And finally, the new issue of Orson Scott Card’s online magazine, The Intergalactic Medicine Show #3, has been released. I was commissioned for two illustrations in the new issue:

Cheater, the story of Han Tzu from Ender’s Game, written by Orson Scott Card
Fat Town, written by Jose Mojica

You can view the illustrations and purchase the new issue by clicking HERE. Below are previews of the images.
