Dateline: The Intergalactic Medicine Show, Issue #2

The mysterious and sordid past of Bonito (Bonzo) Madrid, the International Fleet’s Battle School commander of Salamander Army, and one-time nemesis to Andrew (Ender) Wiggin, has officially been released to the public.

These classified documents, which have been a closely guarded secret within the International Fleet for many decades, were apparently stolen when a hacker broke into the IF’s network and found Madrid’s classified documents, in addition to those of numerous other Battle School students and officials. 

Our sources within the IF’s Battle School informed us on news of the story’s existence many years ago, on the condition of anonimity. The popular belief then was that these files were highly elaborate and delusional stories fabricated by crazed conspiracy theorists who opposed the IF. These documents now prove those opinions were incorrect.

The classified documents were stolen from the computer of a high-ranking officer within the IF. When questioned about the existence of these files and their sudden dissappearance from his database, and reappearance in the news media, Commander Orson S. Card refused to comment. However, a witness reports hearing Card mutter, “This isn’t over,” as he evaded reporters.

What that statemement means is still left up to speculation, but it has caused quite a stir within the digital underground. Hackers and computer hounds across the ‘Verse are brimming with excitment as rumors flare with the pending release of the remaining stolen Battle School files. When will we see these files, and who will they target? Col. Hyrum Graff? Julian (Bean) Delphiki? Dink Meeker? Whomever and whenever that time may be, the coming months will be ones to watch.
